Molly Davies, MSW

As vice president of Elder Abuse Prevention & Ombudsman Services, Molly Davies administers two vital programs at WISE & Healthy Aging – the City and County of Los Angeles Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and the City and County of Los Angeles Elder Abuse Prevention Program. She oversees the many aspects of services related to elder abuse prevention, from long-term care settings to the residential communities served by WISE & Healthy Aging.

Ms. Davies served as Program Director of the Long-Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman Program since 2006. As program director, Ms. Davies oversaw all aspects of the WISE LTC Ombudsman Program, including program development, implementing LTC policy changes, monitoring budgets and promoting the program to the public. Ms. Davies and her staff ensures that service delivery complied with all regulatory and contract guidelines and the policies and procedures that govern the program. She monitors and reports on program performance monthly, maintaining a tracking system for reports of alleged elder abuse and assessing client satisfaction. Ms. Davies is also responsible for recruiting, training and evaluating ombudsmen and staff members.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA and has a master’s degree in Social Work from California State University Long Beach.
