Monica Moore, MSG
Monica Moore, MSG is the director of programming for the WISE & Healthy Aging Adult Day Service Center. Ms. Moore is an expert in the field of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as in caregiver support programs and services.
Prior to coming to WISE & Healthy Aging Ms. Moore worked at the Alzheimer’s Association, California Southland Chapter as the manager of community education for five years. She has worked in the Alzheimer’s field in a variety of capacities including assisted living facilities, caregiver focused non-profits, and local community college adult education programs.
At the WISE Adult Day Service Center Ms. Moore will be in charge of creating and overseeing a program to provide education and support for people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and their care partners. This program will serve as a resource for people with Alzheimer’s and early memory loss to be socially, physically, and cognitively active while remaining an integral part of the community.
Ms. Moore holds a Master’s degree of Science in Gerontology from California State University Long Beach, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and a Certificate in Gerontology from Sonoma State University.
