RSVP Senior Volunteer Program
Seniors and those who have retired from the workforce are one of our community's rich source of experience, knowledge, expertise and wisdom.WISE & Healthy Aging's senior volunteer programs reach out to individuals who have the time and the passion to put their skills to work in valuable service to the community.
The RSVP Program
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a federally funded program that recruits older adult volunteers and places them in positions in the community where they can contribute their time and skills to have a significant impact in their community. Would you like to make a difference in your community? RSVP Volunteers enrich their own lives by serving the community. They stretch their abilities and learn new skills. They become more active and involved in their communities. WISE & Healthy Aging is the coordinating site for the Westside communities of Los Angeles. RSVP Volunteers work in a range of community service areas including local hospitals, police departments, schools, adult day care centers, museums, libraries, colleges, and senior centers. Volunteers can contribute as many hours as they wish. Each assignment is based on the skills, talents, and preferences of the volunteer, so placements are tailor-made to the individual.Who Can Join RSVP?
